MEET BISCUIT

She came into our care on 15 August 2025, on what became one of the most memorable nights in her story. That was the night Biscuit gave birth to her 12 puppies, affectionately known as the Bikkies, and our team stepped in to rescue and support this beautiful mum and her newborn litter.

Today, Biscuit has come a long way from that night. Most of her puppies have found their own families, with just one Bikkie still waiting for their forever home. Now, it is Biscuit's turn to begin the next chapter of her life.

Biscuit is an estimated 3½-year-old Shar Pei cross, a large-sized girl with a big personality and plenty of love to give.

Biscuit's Personality 💕

Biscuit is a high-energy, incredibly clever girl who has shown us time and time again that she is capable of learning and growing.

She is a confident, strong-minded dog who knows what she wants, and because of her size and strength, she needs a handler who understands large breeds and can provide her with clear, consistent guidance.

When meeting other dogs, Biscuit can do well with careful introductions and monitoring. However, she will stand her ground if another dog challenges her. She also experiences lead and barrier frustration, so she needs continued support to develop calm and appropriate responses in these situations.

Biscuit is still learning her manners when meeting people and can become excited and jumpy. She would thrive with someone who is confident, patient and committed to continuing the work her rehabilitation team has started.

For this reason, Biscuit would be best suited as an only dog with an experienced and confident handler.

Training & Skills 🐾

One of the things we love most about Biscuit is just how clever she is.

She has already come a long way with her basic commands and is continuing to build on her skills every day. Biscuit is house trained and lead trained, and she is currently developing her lead manners and learning how to navigate the world with greater confidence and calmness.

She has also undergone entropion surgery and recovered beautifully, with no complications.

Biscuit's journey is very much about progress rather than perfection, and she has already shown us that she has the ability to learn when given the right guidance, consistency and encouragement.

Biscuit's Next Chapter ❤️

Biscuit has spent her time with us learning, growing and discovering that life can be about more than simply surviving. She has raised 12 beautiful puppies, overcome challenges, learned new skills and continued to show us just how much potential she has.

She isn't looking for someone who expects perfection from day one. She's looking for someone who sees the clever, capable and loving dog underneath the challenges - someone willing to continue guiding her, building her confidence and celebrating every step forward.

Biscuit has already come so far. Now she just needs the right person to walk beside her for the rest of the journey. 🐾❤️
