A Little About Bruce

Bruce came into our care after being found as part of a litter during a community check by a member of the public. This sweet boy was in need of proper nutrition and veterinary care, so our Team stepped in and brought him to safety.

Since arriving in our care, Bruce has had the chance to grow stronger, feel safe and discover just how wonderful life can be. He has blossomed into a goofy, affectionate boy who is now ready to find a family of his own.

Bruce is an estimated 1-year-old Shar Pei cross, a large-sized boy with a big personality and plenty of energy to share.

Bruce's Personality 💕

Bruce is the definition of a goofy, gentle sweetheart.

When you first meet him, Bruce can be a little shy and unsure of himself. He is still building his confidence and finding his feet, but give him a little patience and kindness and you'll soon see his true personality shine through.

Once Bruce feels comfortable, his playful side comes out in full force — zoomies included! 🎉 He loves affection and cuddles and has a wonderfully gentle nature that makes him incredibly endearing.

Bruce is a high-energy boy who would love a family that can keep his body and mind busy while continuing to help him build confidence in the world around him.

Training & Skills 🐾

Bruce has already made great progress with his training.

He is mostly trained in basic skills and has been working on his lead manners. He is also crate trained, giving him a great foundation to continue building on in his forever home.

As a young, energetic dog, Bruce will benefit from continued training, consistency and positive reinforcement. He is still learning, but with the right guidance, we know he has plenty of potential to continue growing into a confident and well-rounded companion.

Bruce's Next Chapter ❤️

Bruce has already had quite the journey for such a young boy. From needing help with his health and nutrition to becoming the happy, goofy boy we know today, he has shown just how much a little safety, care and love can change a life.

Now, Bruce is ready for the next chapter — a home where he can continue to grow in confidence, burn off his endless puppy energy, enjoy plenty of cuddles and finally know what it means to be someone's forever boy.

He may take a little time to show you his heart, but once he does, you'll discover a wonderfully gentle, playful and affectionate boy who is impossible not to love. 🐾❤️
