A Little About Clover

Clover was found abandoned in a park with her seven beautiful puppies. Thankfully, a kind passerby took the whole family to safety, and they eventually found their way to WAGS Rescue NZ in June 2026.

Our vets estimate Clover was born in early July 2022 and confirmed that she had been bred repeatedly over the years. After raising her latest litter, Clover's puppies are now fully weaned — and for the first time, she gets to simply be a dog.

Her days of having puppies are over. ❤️

Clover's Personality 💕

Clover is an incredibly gentle, loving and affectionate girl.

She is fantastic with other dogs and has already enjoyed going on adventures with her canine friends. She's also settled beautifully into home life at WAGS HQ, happily sneaking into the bedroom and showing us just how much she enjoys being part of a family environment.

Clover is wonderful with people, and the person who originally rescued her also described her as being great with young children.

As Clover has only recently come into our care, we're still getting to know her and discovering more of her personality every day. There are likely still parts of this sweet girl that are yet to come out as she becomes more comfortable and settled.

Clover is not suitable for a home with cats.

Training & Skills 🐾

Clover has adapted beautifully to home life and is proving to be an adaptable girl.

She enjoys spending time with other dogs and has shown that she can settle comfortably into a household environment. Her next family can continue building her confidence and helping her enjoy all the experiences she's missed out on.

Clover's Next Chapter ❤️

Clover has spent much of her life caring for puppies. Now, it's finally her turn to be cared for.

She doesn't need to be someone's mum anymore. She just needs to be someone's dog — a dog who is loved, spoiled, included and cherished for exactly who she is.

Clover has already shown us what a wonderful companion she can be, and we're sure there's still so much more to discover as she settles into her new life.

No more puppies. No more being used. Just Clover. 🐾❤️
