MEET COCO 🩷

Her Story

Coco came into our care after experiencing something no puppy should ever have to endure.

Wrapped in a blanket, this tiny 2kg girl was thrown from a vehicle towards a group of young boys at a skate park before the driver sped away.

Thankfully, those boys did the right thing and made sure Coco got the help she needed.

When Coco first arrived at WAGS, she was understandably timid and unsure. Since entering care, she has had a full veterinary check, vaccinations. She's doing well in a lovely foster home, and is finally getting the chance to be what she should have been all along - a puppy.

Her Personality

What a difference a short-time can make.

The timid little girl who first arrived in our care has come out of her shell, and beneath that tiny body is a whole lot of personality. Coco is a confident, cheeky and curious little pup who keeps her foster family entertained with her funny little ways.

She also has a great appetite and knows exactly when food is being prepared! For such a tiny girl, she certainly doesn't lack enthusiasm when it comes to mealtime.

Training & Skills

Current Status

📍 Currently in foster care in West Auckland

🐶 Healthy and doing well

🩷 Growing in confidence and showing more of her personality every day

🏡 Not yet ready for adoption - more about Coco's needs and ideal home will become clear as she continues to grow

It's hard to believe that this is the same little puppy who arrived wrapped in a blanket after being discarded and left behind.

Today, Coco is safe, warm, fed and loved.

One day, she'll leave WAGS for the very last time - not because someone chose to throw her away, but because she'll be heading off to a forever home that sees exactly what we've come to see:
