A Little About Dasher

Dasher came into WAGS Rescue NZ in December 2025 as one of seven puppies rescued from a difficult and unsafe home environment.

She is one of four beautiful brindle sisters from the litter and has grown into a lovely young girl who is now ready to find a family of her own.

Dasher is estimated to be 9-10 months old and is a mixed breed, potentially a Staffy cross.

Dasher's Personality 💕

Dasher is a happy, energetic and affectionate young girl who enjoys having fun but also knows how to settle when the excitement is over.

She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine company. Her lovely balance of energy and calm makes her a fun companion without being constantly on the go.

As Dasher is still young and developing, we're continuing to learn more about her personality and how she responds to different environments and experiences.

Her suitability with cats and children is still to be determined as we get to know her further.

Training & Skills 🐾

Dasher is crate trained and is currently developing her basic skills and house training.

She's still a young dog with plenty to learn, but she has a great foundation to build from. Her forever family will have the opportunity to continue her training with patience, consistency and positive reinforcement.

Dasher's Next Chapter ❤️

Dasher has already come a long way from the circumstances she was rescued from. Now she's ready for the part of her story where she gets to simply be a young dog — learning, playing, growing and discovering the world with a family who loves her.

She's got energy, she's got personality and she's got plenty of potential.

With the right family to continue guiding her, we're sure Dasher will grow into a wonderful companion.

Her future is just beginning, and we can't wait to see where it takes her. 🐾❤️
