Nelly

MEET NELLY 🐾

Nelly came into our care after a puppy was found on a doorstep near a local reserve. She had apparently been crying through the night, and the finder hadn't realised there was a little puppy outside.

She was given water and some puppy food, and one of our team members arranged for a friend to collect her from the neighbour until she could come into WAGS care on 9 June 2026.

Since then, Nelly has been settling into foster care and growing into a lovely, confident young girl. ❤️

PERSONALITY

Nelly is a confident, friendly and affectionate puppy who loves people.

She is curious about the world around her and has been doing well in foster care. She recently met a Great Dane at the vet, which gave her a bit of a fright - the first time her foster had really seen her scared of anything!

For the most part, Nelly is a happy, outgoing girl who is enjoying growing up and discovering new things.

Nelly has already put on a healthy amount of weight since arriving with her foster, and she is developing beautifully.

She is still a young puppy, so her forever family will need to be ready for all the usual puppy stages - training, learning, growing and plenty of adventures along the way. 🐾

Nelly is looking for a home where she can continue to grow into the happy, confident dog she is already showing us she can be.
