MEET PHOEBE 🐾

Phoebe is one of those little dogs whose story could have ended very differently.

When she first came into our care, she was tiny, frightened and incredibly unwell. She had been severely neglected and was dealing with a heavy worm burden, ongoing stomach issues, infected eyes, skin problems and a hernia that required surgery.

She had a long road ahead of her, but with the care of her amazing foster and her rescue crew behind her, Phoebe has come so far. ❤️

PERSONALITY

Phoebe is a loving, affectionate little girl who has an incredible amount of love to give despite everything she has been through.

She is playful, enjoys her toys and is now able to relax and enjoy being a puppy. She has also been well socialised with other dogs and enjoys their company.

One of her biggest breakthroughs was learning that her crate was a safe place. When she first arrived, she was terrified at night and would cry, bite at the crate and try to climb out. Her foster spent nights sleeping beside her, reassuring her that she was safe.

Then one morning, they woke up to find Phoebe quietly playing with her toys in her crate. 🥹

Today, being in her crate is no longer a problem - something that became especially important during her recovery after surgery.

Phoebe has been through more in her first few months than any puppy should have to experience. But today, she is safe, loved and finally getting to experience the things she should have had from the beginning - toys, naps, playtime and people who care about her. ❤️

She has worked incredibly hard to get here, and now she is ready for a home that will continue to give her the love, patience and security she deserves.
