Meet Poppy – The Confident Leader

Born 18 August 2025, Poppy is a bold and adventurous little girl who’s always ready to take the lead. She’s naturally curious and loves to climb, often being the first to explore new spaces — in fact, she was the first to make her way over the whelping box!

Poppy’s confidence and playful spirit make her a lively and engaging companion. She’s looking for a home that can match her energy and celebrate her spirited personality.

She’s up to date with flea and worm treatments and currently working on her socialization, growing more confident each day.

The Biscuit Family Story

Poppy is one of Biscuit’s beautiful “Bikkies,” a litter rescued alongside their devoted mum after she gave birth in difficult circumstances. Thanks to the kindness and teamwork of rescuers and carers, the family grew healthy, safe, and loved. Now under W.A.G.S Rescue NZ, these once-tiny pups are ready to find their forever homes — and Poppy can’t wait to meet her match.
