MALLOW (aka Mallow Puff) — Our First Bikkie Adopted!

Our sweet Mallow Puff the very first of our Biscuit’s Bikkies to find his forever home has officially landed himself a dream life on Great Barrier Island with his amazing dad, Dave.

From the very first moment Dave saw the pups, he reached out. We kept in touch as the Bikkies grew, and when Mallow was finally old enough, Dave made the special trip over to meet him. What happened next was pure magic that instant, unspoken connection when a person and a pup simply choose each other.

Dave had lost his beloved boy Fatty, his soul mate, workmate, and shadow of 12 beautiful years. There was a void in his heart one that only true dog lovers understand. But the moment he met Mallow, something shifted. The joy returned to his eyes, and Mallow’s tail told us everything we needed to know.

Mallow travelled to his new island home by launch, showing no signs of sea sickness clearly born to be a beach babe!

When his paws touched the sand, excitement took over. Now, he spends his days exploring 25 acres of island beauty, having big adventures followed by even bigger naps (and yes snoring like a trooper!)

This adoption feels extra special to me my Nana and Grandfather came from Great Barrier Island, so in a way, Mallow is still part of the whānau.

We couldn’t have asked for a better match. Wishing Dave and Mallow Puff a long, love-filled life together full of sandy paws, salty air, and endless adventures.
